I got on the bus and was greeted by joyous cries of "Hippie!". I missed you too, dear children.
Today was the special day for tenth graders and they planned games for the other classes. First, they did an obstacle course where one person led a blindfolded person through the course. Lisa and I didn't want to do it but then Madi made me and it wasn't bad. I'll link pictures later if Madi or Logan post them.
Then, we went back to the classroom and played some games. We played one where we stood in a circle and then had to get to the other side of the room without bumping into anyone. Then, we played one where we had to close our eyes and count to 30 as a group. If two people counted at once, we had to start over. We failed and convinced the tenth graders to let us bring it down to 15 and then I think we succeeded. Or maybe it was 10. Then we stood in two circles and had to do one where people leaned forward and backward alternating and we couldn't fall. Then, I got to stand in the middle and people pushed me in the cirlce and had to catch me and push me again. That wasn't fun. Then we all mad a line across from someone and were going to pass Lucy (a girl from our village) down the line but couldn't do it. I think they succeeded in Emily's class because she is so small.
Then we just stood around and ate until it was time to go boating.
Paddle-boating was fun. I was with Lisa, Shelbi, and Conni. We all biked but Shelbi wouldn't get up because she was afraid of tipping the boat. That was fun and it was much hotter than we expected.
My favorite picture from today.
Then, we sat on the shore and hung out so we didn't have to go back to school. We did vocabulary, drew, talked, and laughed. And Katlin bought us all ice cream.
Kaitlin held a funeral for a dead crawdad she found.
The boys played an intense game of Ninja.
Then the girls played cards.
It was a lot of fun but since we didn't expect it be hot, we didn't wear sunscreen. And so we got a little sunkissed/sunburned. Lisa is more red than I am but we put on aftersun cream or lotion or something later.
We rode the earlier bus home, had noodles, I caught up on internet, blogged Berlin, and Lisa went to Wismar to look for clothes but she found none. And she got yelled at by the busdriver. I think that's the last time I let her go to Wismar alone. Overall, a fun day but I am tired and want to sleep.
Good night!

#14: I'm glad you didn't fall out of the boats. That would've been a bummer.
